Web Application Development

Abstract:
This project presents the design and development of an online web portal aimed at maintaining comprehensive records of diabetes-affected patients in Pakistan. The system is intended to provide a centralized, secure, and user-friendly platform for
healthcare professionals to store, access, and manage patient data efficiently. By digitizing medical records, the portal minimizes manual paperwork, reduces the risk of data loss, and enhances the accuracy of patient information. It also facilitates real-time data updates, enabling doctors, clinics, and hospitals to monitor patient history, treatment plans, and progress more effectively.

Furthermore, the proposed web portal aims to support better healthcare decision-making and improve patient outcomes by enabling data analysis and reporting features. Patients can benefit from improved continuity of care, while healthcare
providers gain insights into trends and patterns related to diabetes across different regions of Pakistan. The system emphasizes data privacy and security, ensuring that sensitive medical information is protected. Overall, this project contributes to strengthening the healthcare infrastructure by leveraging digital technology to address the growing challenge of diabetes management in the country. On one side, the portal will serve as a one-stop platform to support better
healthcare decision-making and on other side the social welfare organizations both in government as well as in non-government organizations can use this portal for supporting individuals who cannot fully care for themselves.
