Abstract / Introduction

The Collaborative Sharing of Bulk Items Purchasing System is a web-based platform designed to enable users to collaboratively purchase products in bulk and benefit from discounted pricing. In many markets, suppliers offer lower prices for large quantity purchases; however, individual buyers are often unable to meet 
these requirements. This system solves this problem by allowing multiple users to combine their purchasing needs into a single bulk order. The platform organizes products into well-defined categories such as groceries, electronics, household items, personal care products, and office/stationery items etc. This categorization helps users easily browse, search, and participate in relevant bulk purchasing groups.
Users can register, create profiles, and browse categorized products. They can either create or join bulk purchasing groups where each participant contributes a specific quantity toward a predefined target. The system tracks the total quantity in real time and applies dynamic discounts once the required threshold is achieved. A secure individual payment system is integrated, where each user pays separately for 
their selected quantity using online payment methods. Payments are processed transparently, and users can track their payment status. The platform also includes features such as notifications, messaging between users, and order tracking. An admin panel allows management of products, categories, users, and discount rules, ensuring smooth system operation.
